In this lesson we are going to quickly show how to calculate standard deviation in Excel using the STDEV function.
It consists of only one argument: the cells for which we want to calculate a standard deviation.
We’ll write Equals, STDEV, and then select the cells.
For this particular example, we have a standard deviation of about 2.78.
Note that any Text, or Logical Values are ignored when using this version of standard deviation calculation.
