If we would like to find out the date before or after a certain amount of workdays, we use the Workday function.
Let’s say we are given 12 days off of work, and we would like to know what date we’ll be returning to work, if we leave on the 3rd of March, 2016.
The function consists of three arguments: the start date, the amount of days we want off, and any holidays in between
We’ll type Equals, workday, select the start date, and type in the amount of days, which in our case is 12, and select the holidays.
It turns out that we will be returning to work on the 22nd of March.
In this lesson we have gone through the WORKDAY function, which gives the date before or after a number of workdays.
