This lesson will go through the COUNTA function, which counts the number of nonblank cells in a defined area. COUNTA is short for count all.
It consists of only one argument, the range within which we will count the non-blank cells.
We type in the Equals, CountA, and select the area.
The result is that there are 6 cells in the selected area which have content.
